In this context, “Injection” refers specifically to the high-pressure transfer of bulk product from a stationary source (shore tank) into a vessel’s receiving system — distinct from subsea chemical injection (e.g., DRA, corrosion inhibitors) used for flow assurance in long-distance pipelines.

“STS Transfer” refers to direct ship-to-ship cargo transfer without intermediate shore storage.
